Russell (Rusty) Clunie is the Vice-President of the Broda Group of Companies and is responsible for the corporate governance of all the companies’ operations in its multi-million dollar portfolio. With over 40 years experience in heavy civil construction, aggregate production, and the energy sector, Rusty has worked in a variety of capacities aiding to his technical experience in managing stringent delivery schedules for the successful delivery of significant projects.
Rusty joined the Broda Group during the merger and acquisition of Brent Construction in 1994. During his tenure, he has been a catalyst behind major infrastructure business expansion, restructuring, integration and diversification of the company. His expertise in engineering and industry knowledge is a winning combination largely attributed to the companies overall success.
In addition to his position within Broda, Rusty serves as a chair for the Ty Pozzobon Foundation, treasurer & chair for American Bucking Bull Inc. (ABBI) Canadian Chapter, board member for Clunies Consulting Engineering Ltd., and a board member for B&B Construction Group.
Rusty is a designated Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with a Bachler of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
